Cover Letters

A cover letter is an important component in your job search strategy, in some cases, it could make the difference whether you get the interview or not.  I can create a customized cover letter that can be used for all of your job searches—various jobs with similar requirements.  Letters can also be created specifically in response to advertised positions or to solicit further job opportunities.  Cover letters are written in a manner to demonstrate your suitability for the position and structured to impress employers by highlighting key aspects (without repeating the information on your resume) of your skills, accomplishments and overall suitability of becoming an asset to the organization.

Complete Writing Service – This service involves crafting of the letter based on careful review of your target areas/industry (if general) or the requirements of the position that you are applying for, in additional to other requirements as specified by the employer (job posting).

The fee for this service is:

  • $75 with purchase of a resume writing service
  • $95 without purchase of a resume writing service

Editing and Enhancing Service – This service is aimed at reviewing and improving the content of your existing cover letter to make it more effective and appealing to employers, in alignment with your area of interest.

The fee for this service is:

  • $65

Thank You Letters

How do you demonstrate your sincere interest in the job after the interview and increase your chances of landing the job?  By sending a thank you letter and reinforcing what value you can bring to the table in alignment with the job’s mandate, to the interviewer(s).  The letter should also be a genuine note of thank you created after the interview has taken place.  This way you can leverage information about the company and the job gathered during the interview to your advantage.

Fees and Services

Complete Writing Service – This service involves creation of the thank you letter based on an assessment of the interview and information gathered to strengthen your application for the position.

The fee for this service is:

  • $65

Editing Service – This service is aimed at improving the overall content and strength of the letter in relation to the job.

The fee for this service is:

  • $60

Payment Methods

A 50% deposit is required to begin any work.  The balance is due upon your review and approval if the review process is taken place at our Office.  If the review is done through email and phone discussion, then the balance is due before the resume or any other work is email to clients.  Please note that all fees are subjected to a review of the work to be done, either at the Office or over the telephone.  If there is a price difference you will be informed for your approval before any work begins on your resume or any other career documents.  There is no tax on services for international or U.S. clients, however, all fees are subjected to HST for Canadian clients.
